WWE fans (count me in!) /non-fans out there, Did you know that Dave Batista is 1/2 Filipino? Yes. The man on the picture above is actually our "kababayan". His real name is David Michael Bautista Jr....Bautista being a common surname in the Philippines. He is born to a Filipino father and a Greek mom.
If you are observant enough, notice Dave Batista's tattoo above...See the Philippine flag? That's the proof! Dave Batista was also seen accompanying Manny Pacquiao towards the ring in the latter's fight against British Ricky Hatton.

ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend who is an avid fan of wrestling told me about him. Though I am very proud that he is part filipino and he still remains close to his filipino culture. I was saddened to read from his autobiography that his father was absent in his life.
